PM Modi to Lead The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit 2023

December 2023 is about the end, but many important events are still happening. In this regard, one more event is scheduled for Wednesday, 13th November 2023 which will be taken by the Prime Minister of India. This event is The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit 2023 which is all set to take place today. Many important decisions will be taken and it will be shared by PM Modi. At this Summit, the focus will be on advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and innovation. This summit will be held for 3 days from 12 December to 14 December and it will be taking place in Bharat Mandapam. 

 

The inauguration of the summit will be done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 05:00 PM. Around 28 countries and the EU are taking part in this event and showing their presence from today onwards. The inaugural speech of PM Modi will start the summit. According to the reports, PM Modi extended an invitation to the event through a LinkedIn post. In this post, PM Modi highlighted the importance of Artificial Intelligence and stated the rapidly advancing technology with expanding applications. The post reads “This revolutionary technology is now in the hands of a new generation- young, brilliant minds who are swiftly enriching its vast potential. 

 

PM Modi also talked about the growth of India in the last 10 years and attributed it to the fast-paced acumen of phones, global connectivity through the internet and scalable models for digital inclusion. He further added that our nation is taking the help of AI to serve citizens in their language, helping the students to get education help in a personalized manner, making easy access to healthcare and also making agriculture more informed. Furthermore, this summit will feature several alluring and interesting sessions that includes the AI Expo where around 150 Startups will get the chance to present their vision and strengths. 

 

PM Modi has high expectations from this summit and believes that it will help the nation to work well with the help of AI Technology. Through his post, he asserted that the GPAI Summit 2023 is a testament to the commitment of India to harnessing technology, especially AI, for the betterment of individuals and to make sure that nations of the Global South are not the last to gain benefits from it. 10 Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of National Skill Development Corporation- Ved Mani Tiwari

 

Apart from them, the MP of the government of Tanzania, Neema Lugangira and the Chief Executive Officer of Social and Human Sciences, UNESCO, Dr. Mariagrazia Squicciarini will also address this Summit.
