As mentioned in the portal, “Fighter” accumulated an approximate ₹28.5 crore and ₹27.5 crore nett on Saturday and Sunday in India. The overall occupancy of the film on Sunday was 31.56 per cent.
Most of the booking of the theaters was for the evening as the occupancy on Sunday evening was reported at 43.38 per cent. The highest overall occupancy of the film was 63.75 per cent in Chennai and the second position was secured by Jaipur with an occupancy of 39 per cent. The Storyline Of Fighter
As the title describes, the film showcases the struggle and sacrifice of the Indian Air Force. It depicts the story of Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh (Anil Kapoor), Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Hrithik Roshan), Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Deepika Padukone) and other members of the elite IAF unit “Air Dragons”. This film is based on a real incident and recalls the actual account of Pakistan’s 2019 assaults on India. Fighter discusses how IAF pilots had the upper hand over terrorists and makes references to the Pulwama Incident, the Balakot airstrike, and the India-Pakistan border conflicts.
