Recent history has been created by two Indian cricket players who pulled the attention of all around the world and Indian citizens are extremely proud of both of them. Well, we know that it is not right to give all the credit to only both of them but yesterday’s match made both of them the talk of the town, particularly the one player who created history by taking 7 wickets against their opponents.

With the winning of Wednesday’s match, India’s cricket team has made their way into the finals of ICC World Cup 2023. Yesterday’s match was quite astonishing and people watched it with a lot of interest till the end, onlookers held their breath until India won. Now today’s match of South Africa with Australia will decide who will play finals against India. Speaking about the phenomenal victory of India in the semi-finals, the match was quite thrilling and India beautifully maintained their winning streak in the ICC World Cup 2023. This win is the revenge for the defeat the Indian team faced in the ICC World Cup 2019.

This season is quite an astonishing one as for the first time in the history of the ICC World Cup, India has created a streak of winning and made the way to the finale without losing a single match. We are hoping that India will win this tournament with this winning streak. Today’s semi-final match will decide the opponent of India in the upcoming final match that will be played on Sunday 19th November 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. India’s star Mohammed Shami surpassed the record of Zaheer Khan for most wickets by an Indian in an edition of a single ODI World Cup.

With this record, Pacer Shami becomes the 1st Indian bowler in the ODI cricket match who takes 7 wickets. He achieved the best bowling figures for India in the history of the World Cup. Shami has taken a total of 23 wickets in the ICC World Cup which surpassed the previous record of Zaheer Khan of taking 21 wickets that he made in 2011. Shami impressed everyone as soon as he turned the table in the 33rd over in Wednesday’s match. Shami won the title of the “Man of the Match” award and while addressing the media, he stated that he had been waiting for a long time for this opportunity.

Besides Shami, Virat Kohli also hit a record for the 50th Century for India and helped the Indian team to get the hit in the final round. The match was quite intense and India won it by 70 runs which was quite hard. The match was quite dramatic as initially, India played well and scored 397 runs and when it came to their bowling, they again impressed the onlookers. However, it was hard to defeat New Zealand and at one point in the game, it looked hard for India to win but Shami dramatically turned the tables in the end and became the reason for the defeat of New Zealand. Now, Let’s hope for the victory of India in the final match as well.
