On Tuesday, 17th October, many celebrities were honoured with the prestigious award in their respective fields. This award has been distributed by the hands of the honourable President of India, Droupadi Murmu. In the 69th National Awards Ceremony 2023 many big celebrities appeared and received awards for their stunning performances in their fields. However, the centre of attraction of this ceremony was Alia Bhatt and Waheeda Rehman. This award ceremony was conducted in Delhi’s Vigyan Bhavan. All the beautiful actresses were looking graceful in their Indian attire but most of the eyes were on Alia Bhatt who dolled up in her wedding saree. 

 

Apart from the 69th National Film Award 2023, Alia Bhatt’s wedding saree is trending on social media and people are talking about her beauty and how gracefully she carried her wedding saree. Another talk of the town was the veteran actress Waheeda Rehman who received the prestigious award “Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award” for giving 50 years to Hindi Cinema. In this prestigious 69th National Film Award 2023 many celebrities took part including an actor from the South Entertainment Industry. The winners of this year’s National Film Awards 2023 include Kriti Sanon and Alia Bhatt who jointly bagged awards in the category of Best Actress for their respective movies.

 

In the 69th National Film Awards 2023, actor Allu Arjun became the first Telugu actor who received this honour. Moreover, in the closing speech of President Droupadi Murmu at the 69th National Award Ceremony, she congratulated the veteran actress Waheeda Rehman for her achievement and for bagging the notable “Dadasaheb Phalka Award”. During her speech, the President of India also talked about the achievement of women in the 69th National Award. She further added how movies have become the bridge between integrity and shaping the way of telling stories to inspire people rather than telling baseless stories.
