Pran Pratishtha Ceremony becomes most watched livestream on YouTube

January 2024 has been recorded as the most special month for India. Many historic events and milestones have been named in the nation in all fields. However, the most special and auspicious day for any Hindu will remain Monday, 22nd January 2024 which will always be remembered. On this auspicious day, the wait of 500 years has come true as the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla was finally led by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The PM of India has welcomed the Hindu God with great pomp and show. The entire nation and other parts of the world where Hindus reside have celebrated Diwali as the welcome gesture of Ram Lalla in the newly built Temple of Ayodhya.

This day will never be forgotten and pilgrims are excited to visit this temple now open for the public from Tuesday, 23rd January 2024 onwards. Apart from that, the inauguration and consecration ceremony held a new rank or position on YouTube and owned the title of the most viewed live event. The YouTube channel of Narendra Modi has created a global benchmark with over 19 million live views which is one of the highest for any live stream event on an American video-sharing and social media platform to date. It is worth noting that, on the YouTube channel of Narendra Modi, the event of Pran Pratistha has been watched live and has crossed 9+ million views or  90 lakh views.

As we mentioned above, it is one of the most viewed live-streaming events in the history of YouTube. On the official YouTube channel of PM Modi live streamed two videos titled: “Shri Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha LIVE | PM Modi attends Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram in Ayodhya”, and “PM Modi Live | Ayodhya Ram Mandir LIVE | Shri Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha” got over 1 crore and 90 lakhs live views respectively, leaving behind other records of live streaming that includes, a FIFA World Cup 2023 match, the launch event of Apple and the launch of Chandrayaan-3. 

A new record has been set by the livestream on YouTube of Pran Pratishtha

Before this event, the “Chandrayaan-3 launch” had set the record of 8 million views, and second position was held by a FIFA World Cup match and the third one was the Apple launch event. It is worth noting that the YouTube channel of Narendra Modi has 2.1 crore subscribers. To date around 23,750 videos have been posted on his channel and in total it has 472 crore views. With this huge number of subscribers, Narendra Modi owns the first title of the most subscribed politician globally. 

Speaking about the live stream event, PM Modi was spotted walking inside the temple premises and carrying a “chatter” (umbrella) made of silver. This chatter was placed on a red piece of cloth which the PM handed over to the priest. The look of the Prime Minister of India has also attracted attention. He was seen wearing a golden kurta which he paired with a cream dhoti and patka. In the presence of renowned priests, the ceremony was done by the hands of PM Modi. Modi also made a tweet regarding it on his Twitter account that reads, “The extraordinary moment of the consecration of Shri Ram Lala’s life in Ayodhya Dham is going to leave everyone emotional. I am feeling great to be a part of this divine program. Hail Siya Ram!.”
