RSS Leaders Dominate Most Powerful Indians 2024 List

The list of the Most Powerful Indians 2024 has been shared by a renowned publication weeks before the Lok Sabha elections. As expected, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held the first position on the list. Now, this list gives a hint of the result of the upcoming general elections and it is quite understandable the power of Narendra Modi. Well, the time will tell the result of the upcoming election but it will be interesting to watch which party will get the power to run the Indian administration. Speaking about the IE 100 list of 2024, the top names are made up of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)/ Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders primarily. 

Apart from PM Modi, Chief Justice of India, DY Chandrachud and billionaire Gautam Adani have also made space among the top 10 influential and powerful Indians. Besides that, the 16th position is held by Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo standing on the 18th position. With every passing year, the following of PM Modi is only increasing and approximately 95.6 million are following him on X platform (earlier known as Twitter) which is the highest number of followers among all the world leaders. 

2. Amit Shah: The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah is one the second position after PM Modi. It is quite obvious for him to come after the PM as he is already known to be the most powerful Indian. Amit Shah is popularly known to be a chief strategist of the BJP under whom the ruling party achieved a landslide victory in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan Legislative elections in December 2023. 

3. Mohan Bhagwat: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader continued to commemorate his uninterrupted innings in power. The 73-year-old leader was present throughout the Ram Temple consecration ceremony that was held on 22nd January. His presence gave a strong sign of the NDA-BJP alliance. 

4. DY Chandrachud: The Indian jurist and the current Chief Justice of India is holding the 4th position in the list. It is worth noting that D Y Chandrachud led the Bench that settled legal doubts over the integration of Jammu and Kashmir into the Indian Union, ruling in favour of the decision of the Central government to abrogate Article 370. 

5. S Jaishankar: The Minister of External Affairs is known for his bold attitude and strong diplomatic skills. His interviews often go viral on social media which showcases his strong advocacy. The sharp retorts at the time of oil sanctions and the issue of Khalistan helped India to get a strong position in the game of world diplomacy.
