UP Global Investors Summit 2023: PM Modi Witnesses Samsung Galaxy AI
At the UP Groundbreaking Ceremony (GBC4.0) on Monday, 19th February, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met and greeted with President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia JB Park, where the latter showed and discussed the Galaxy AI features to the Indian Prime Minister. During the summit, both Modi and Park were seen exploring the features of the newly launched edition by Samsung. Park also gave prominence to the role of Samsung engineers who were involved in designing attributes.
The world’s largest mobile factory, Samsung Electronics, was inaugurated by PM Modi in 2018 in Noida’s sector 81. Highlighting the features of Galaxy AI, Park also talked about Samsung’s journey of 28 years in Noida, where Samsung’s manufacturing unit is situated along with two of its R&D centers.
Samsung has been deliberately working towards integrating AI into its uniquely produced devices, and the all-new Galaxy AI is no less than any wonder produced by the South Korea-based conglomerate. Its R&D Center, which is based in Bangalore, India, is the company’s largest unit outside its parent country. The Bangalore-based center, in accordance with other R&D centers such as Samsung Research America (SRA), work collectively to bring innovations in the Galaxy’s line of mobiles.
What is Galaxy AI
The latest Samsung Galaxy S24 was introduced with a variety of Galaxy AI features. This model was launched in January 2024 with its standout artificial intelligence-powered Galaxy features. These include ‘Live Translate’, a feature that enables double way, real-time voice and text translations of mobile calls within the native app. Other notable features of the S24 series are:
- Circle to search-This unique feature of the phone allows users to search for anything with Google. Using the S Pen or simply the finger, one can circle the items they want to search for, and the search results appear instantly.
- Generative Edit- Pictures can be edited using the smart features of Galaxy S24. Its AI features facilitate edits like erasing, remastering, and recomposing. A simple picture can be converted into a photogenic edit with this unique feature.
- Chat Assist- This feature provides chat suggestions to users which can help them in enhancing the tone and writing quality of the message. With the built-in AI Samsung keyboard, one can write and translate messages to their contacts in 13 different languages simultaneously.
- Note Assist- Making notes has now become easier with Note Assist’s experience. Along with laying down AI-generated summaries, template creation, and cover creation, this feature translates notes, adding easiness to daily tasks.
This latest edition by Samsung has revolutionized the user experience, adding a new dimension to Samsung’s Galaxy series. These unique AI features have now been translated to selected Samsung Galaxy wireless earphones such as Samsung Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, and Galaxy Buds FE.
